Waverley Park Lodge served as an excellent base for my business trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and the 20-minute walk to the hovercraft and close proximity to Gun Wharf Quays made transit convenient. Breakfast hours from 8 to 8:30 offered a nice selection, with the self-serve setup being efficient. The owner was accommodating, providing a parking permit that eased my stay.
Towels were quite flat.

The room was as clean as a whistle, and the staff were a right pair of diamonds! They even sorted us parking, which was a right result. Only downside? I couldn't try the brekkie, what a shame! Defo coming back for round two.

The atmosphere exuded a friendly charm.
I was really taken aback by the rudeness of the owner during breakfast. When I politely asked for butter, he acted as if I had done something wrong. To be honest, the en-suite bathroom felt cramped, which was uncomfortable, and the noise from outside kept me up at night with the window open.

The location was super quiet, just a 10-minute walk to the coast. Loved that the family room had enough beds for everyone. Plus, the house was clean and cozy!

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend breather
Comfy room, friendly owner, who made check-in easy and provided a parking permit, located conveniently for exploring the city, with a good shower that made my stay pleasant.
Nothing to criticize.

A charming older property with a friendly atmosphere, this doubled room offered a warm and comfortable stay, complete with a lovely skylight and ensuite bathroom. The housekeeper was helpful and attentive, and the breakfast, particularly the full English, was delightful. the towels were flat and the shower could have been more spacious, although adequate for a short visit.
